Terry Farmer came to FBC Mebane in June of 1994 as Senior Pastor. Having served churches in North Carolina and Texas a total of 27 years, he is a graduate of the University of Mississippi, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas, and Campbell University in Buies Creek, North Carolina. Dr. Farmer has a missionary heart and believes that we are all called and gifted for a special purpose. His wife, Marian, holds a Masters Degree in Speech Pathology from Texas Woman's University and is currently employed by the Alamance Burlington School System. They have 4 grown children; daughter Vivian, who lives with her family in Seattle, daughter Nina Ashley and her husband live in Stem, NC, son Will and his wife of Raleigh, and daughter Lea, who lives in Cary, NC with her husband, and two granddaughters, both of Seattle.

Judy joined the First Baptist, Mebane staff in March 2009. Judy graduated in 1974 from Sandhills Community College with an Associate of Arts degree in Medical Technology. She graduated in 2006 from Campbell University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion and Philosophy and in May 2010 earned her Master of Divinity degree from Campbell University Divinity School. Judy was ordained on February 15, 2009 and began her professional ministry as pastor for the senior adults of FBC Mebane before assuming new responsibilities as the Associate Pastor early in 2010. Judy believes that God uses all the circumstances of our lives for our eventual good and to His glory. Judy’s husband, Yonnie, holds an MBA from Elon University and is employed by the NC Biotechnology Center. Judy’s guidance for the church and it’s members revolves around education and support through life circumstances. Judy offers group and personal spiritual guidance and development, as well as personal, couples, and family counseling, and dream interpretation. Judy is the mother of two adult children: Jamie Joseph who lives in Haw River with his wife Rachel and two children, Riley and Mitchell, and Jordan Waggle who lives in Snow Camp with her husband Jason and their two children Garner and Dayves.

David Gaddy joined the staff at FBC-Mebane in June of 2011 as the Minister of Children and Youth. Gaddy (as he likes to be called) was born in Charlotte but really grew up in Harnett County near Sanford. He attended Campbell University where he got his Bachelors of Science in Mathematics. Afterwards, he began Divinity School at Campbell University, where he continues to work toward his Masters in Divinity. Gaddy has served at two churches prior to FBC-Mebane: Second Baptist Church of Fayetteville, NC and Lees Chapel Church of Dunn, NC. In the summer of 2008, Gaddy met the love of his life, Emily Jones. Their story of how they met is pretty cool, so you should ask them sometime about it. They were married July 31, 2010. They are a true team. In his spare time Gaddy enjoys hanging out with his friends and meeting new people, driving go-karts and playing putt-putt, and watching all kinds of sports. He is a huge TARHEELS fan and loves watching NASCAR. Musically, his favorite artists include Skillet, The Zac Brown Band, Dave Barnes, The Afters, Building 429, Gungor, Mumford & Sons, TobyMac, and Lecrae.
Gaddy and Emily’s hearts desire is to help children, teenagers, and college students believe in the love, hope, healing, grace and forgiveness that are given by God through Jesus! Their calling is described in a painting, by Emily, which hangs in the office of Gaddy: Love God, Love People, Nothing Else Matters
